J.McLaughlin's Carmel store is located on Ocean Avenue at the intersection of Ocean and Dolores. You can find us next door to Alain Pinel Realty and across the street from Talbott. Carmel is bustling with visitors the most during the summer and autumn seasons. Thirty miles north of Big Sur, and home to some of the best golf courses in the world, this beautiful destination attracts visitors from all over the globe. We welcome our visitors to enjoy the gorgeous landscape that many of our customers love to call "home." For breakfast or brunch, we recommend Tuck Box and Katy's Place. For fresh seafood and a great local atmosphere, you can't go wrong with A.W. Shucks or Oyster Bar. In the evening, head over to Vesuvio for a cocktail on the rooftop bar while chatting up the locals at the most popular happy hour in town. Carmel-by the-Sea was originally founded by artists over 100 years ago, so don't be surprised to find an art gallery on literally every block while you're here!
